corporate yoga

The physical and meditative practices of yoga give the mind and body the space and opportunity to detach from the constant demands of life. They help humans develop practical, easy-to-access tools that help maintain balance in the face of those demands.  The benefits of mindfulness practices, especially physical and meditative yoga, are numerous and well-documented. A cursory Google search or a more thorough perusal of peer-reviewed literature will reveal that humans who engage in intentional mindfulness and wellness pursuits experience higher levels of mental and physical well-being than those who do not.  Employees who are engaged in wellness programs contribute higher levels of creativity and innovation, less absenteeism, and overall improved productivity.  The question then becomes how can you help your team tap into the benefits of practicing yoga?

What Does HEREIN Offer?

HEREIN offers a live stream interactive yoga and breathwork experience designed to help your team relax and reinvigorate.  Virtual sessions offer an accessible entry point into yoga that your group can enjoy from home or office. Enjoy the privacy of separate office participation or gather your team and practice together during your next retreat, workshop or long work week.  I seek to provide a wholly welcoming practice and am happy to discuss customized options that will be inclusive of teammates with unique accessibility experiences.

  • Desk & Chair Yoga

This is a light breathwork and physical yoga practice designed to release tension built by long periods of seated work.  At your desk and chair, we’ll progress through opening breathwork into seated poses to promote improved posture and relieve tension held in the neck, shoulders, and wrists. We follow with standing poses to build strength and balance. The session concludes with a seated closing and brief guided meditation.

  • Mat Work

Mat Work I provides a whole-body flow designed to release tension and stress while improving your flexibility, increasing strength, and encouraging focus. This session includes primarily standing postures with minimal floor work. The session concludes with a brief guided meditation that can be enjoyed seated in a chair, seated on the floor, or lying down.

For a faster-paced session that includes additional floor work, consider Mat Work II described in Personal Yoga.

  • Mindful Moments

Meditative yoga allows the mind to still and the body to relax independent of the physical practice of yoga. This 20-minute seated session begins with a brief stretch followed by 15 minutes of guided meditation to encourage relaxed focus and clarity. This is an easy, gentle introduction to the practice of meditative yoga.
