  • Chair & Supported

This is a light meditative and physical practice designed to relieve the tension, relax our body and promote freer movement. The seated practice begins with a brief meditation then progresses into seated poses that loosen tightness in the neck, shoulders and lower back. Standing sequences to build strength and balance can be completed with support from chair or wall or without. The session concludes with a seated closing and a guided meditation.

Perfect for: a gentle introduction to yoga; folks with less lower-body strength; folks with balance concerns; anyone who feels like enjoying a seated practice

  • Mat Work

Mat Work I is a whole body flow designed to release tension and stress while improving flexibility, increasing strength and encouraging focus. This session includes primarily standing postures with minimal floor work. The session opens with a guided meditation that can be completed seated in chair or on the floor. We then progress through several standing sequences to build strength and balance while encouraging focus and intentional breathing. The session concludes with a guided meditation that can be completed seated in chair, seated on the floor, or lying down.

Mat Work Il provides the same benefits as Mat Work I at a more challenging pace and includes additional floor work. The session concludes with a brief guided meditation.

  • Mindful Moments

Meditative yoga allows the mind to still and the body to relax independent of the physical practice of yoga. This 20-minute seated session begins with a brief stretch followed by 15 minutes of guided meditation to encourage relaxed focus and clarity. This is an easy, gentle introduction to the practice of meditative yoga.
