I chose to create this piece because I was battling with impatience. In life, I feel we have a tendency to anticipate the outcome of things without practicing gratitude. I found an old baby picture in my mom's phone that sparked an idea. The young girl who had a love for exploring and taking pictures would be beyond proud of me, and the young girl I still am who enjoys exploring and drawing pictures will be proud of whoever I am in 10 years. There’s no need for envy or comparison, only love and gratitude.
